The Juniors-Seniors Promenade was one of the many activities that students mostly awaited affair particularky to the Juniors and Seniord. Every year a J.S. Prom. was held in the middle of February. This affair was open to all interested 3rd year and 4th year students and will surely contribute to the social development of students.
It was a very memorable night. The J. S. Prom. at Ilocos Sur National High School was held last February 16,2008 from 5:00 to 10:00 PM. I enjoyed very much the night. I prepared myself to the said affair, wore my available gown and did some make up to myself..I came to school wearing a smile and self-confidence.
At first I thought it would be a bad night for me because two people sat on 1 chair and even my other clessmates stood. I also thought it would be a boring night because no one took me to a dance. But as minutes passed by Gemminick took me to the dance floor, followed by EJ then Anthony. There was also a prepared snacks for us that I enjoyed with my friends . After it we did some picture taking with my classmates. Hours passed by then Chuckie was my last dance.
It was my 2nd and last J.S. Prom in our second home but it will remian to my heart and life. It was one of my memorable days during my high school life.

Rush Hour to FAce
There are so many new learnings I encounteered during our hands on activities on Window Movie Maker. I learned the parts of it, the procedure or steps on how to make a sucessful project,. The thing you should know in creating the WMM and many more.
The problems I encountered were, we have no enough time to finish our group or even our individual Windows Movie Maker. There was a time that our computer hang and not responding. Most of us were very noisy that we cannot concentrate on the things we were rushing to. Another one is, some of my groupmate were not cooperating and they want also to get my time. I realized it's hard to make a WMM.
I solved these problems by trying to show my best in finishing my WMM, I also have some patience to my groupmates and manange my time wisely and most specially having self-confidence.
Moving on I will be more responsible to my hands on activities and I will be able to create a Windows Movie Maker with all my best.

A DIFFICULT ENCOUNTER
A new learnings as our lessons became more interesting. During our discussions and hands-on activities I encountered new discoveries. These includes the other HTML Tags such as the "Anchor Tag" and the "Image Tag" which needs a source attribute. I also learned the "Alt Attribute" how to align images using the align attribute, how to adjust sizes of images and the very exciting part to me was applying hypertext and linking the different images to other HTML files.
As usual my common encountered problems in my activities were more on different HTML Tags, one of them is the Image tag which is new to me. The other problem for me is it's not easy to link images to other HTML files because of the confusing procedures which results no image when I browsed in the Internet.
I addressed these challenges in my activities by the help of my groupmates. They guide me in making my activities done correctly. About the different HTML Tags I checked them and I found out my mistakes.

New Discoveries
There are so many learnings I have learned. These are about first,heading tags which include the heading tags from the largest to the smallest heading such as left, right, and center. I learned also the text formatting rags and the preformatted tags.
The problems that I have encountered during the activities are more on the proper application of the different tags. When I finished typing on the notepad and open it in the internet, some of the text are incorrect, some are not in their proper places.
I solved my problems by placing the proper tags and angle brackets. During my hands on activities I solved my problems by checking-up my mistakes in tags and do my hands on activities carefully and properly to avoid unwanted errors.
Moving on I will master the proper html tags to be use and I can avoid my past errors and I will do my hands on activities faster and better.

HTML
The new kearnings that I have encountered were about HTML. I learned the basic HTML Tags which were the Stand Alone Tags and Container tag, their functions or their uses in a HTML document.
The challenges that I have encountered was first started diring the first periodical test . It was very fun and interesting. My problem was the part of acronym. My other challenges were more on HTML Tags. When I do my activity #1 it was hard for me to place the proper HTML Tags because I am not very familiar with their functions and their was also a time that I forgot to put a slash or angle bracket in an HTML Tag.
I solved the problems in my periodical test by just answering the questions I know and it's good I got high score. In my Activioty #1 I solved them by checking-up every word and the HTML Tags I typed and then I done my activity.
Moving on I will know the proper HTML Tags to be use in a HTML Document and I'm sure there will be more HTML Tags that I will encounter.

My experiences in the past 2 weeks
1) What are the new learnings/discoveries that I have learned?
My new learnings are about blog or weblog. I learned that there are types of blog like by media type such as vlog, linkblog,sketcblog and photoblog. The other type is by device and its example is moblog. The Genre such as the political blogs,travel blogs fashion blogs and others. I also learned that advantages of blogs to as a student. The basis on how effective your blog or the Portfolio of Metrics. To all of my new learnings I gave most attention in making my blog.
2) What are the problems/challenges that I have encountered?
I have encountered some problems such as there was a time that I forgot my username or my password. I am also hard up to type because I am slow in typing.
3) How did I address these challenges?
I solved my problems by trying to type my username even I am not sure about it and its good it match. About how I type, I tried to type the fastest way I can. I need more practice in typing for better result.

My First Blog

I have new learnings like about when we discussed about the History Of Internet.I learned that there were so many people, many terms and company that was concerned about Internet. And it undergoes several years for the Internet to be developed.

I encountered some problems like when we are searching in the Internet, I did not finish our first seatwork activity because it is hard to find the exact detail in the Internet or the proper topic to be search because there were so many topics appeared on the sceen that did not fit for our answers.

I solve these problems by trying or trying to type and search for the answer.I and my co-members in our workstation tried to type some URL and there we some find our answers. Other way we did is we search to other search engines like Google.We tried to put some quotation mark on the words and then we found answers.
